DEFINITION OF MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING 

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a networking strategy in which the sales force is compensation, not only for sales they personally generate, but also includes the sales of their referrals (their recruits), so in other words, with the personally generated sales and that of the referrals combined together can provide and generate multiple levels of compensation.
